Sculptural and Object-Based Archive

Seven-Headed Cobra (Bronze) 24” cast bronze sculpture, based on the original insignia of the Symbionese Liberation Army (SLA). Rendered as a three-dimensional object by Erik Brunetti, who holds the registered trademark to the SLA emblem. This piece reanimates a symbol of radical mythology—sculpted, molded, and cast over an extended fabrication process. At once artifact, provocation, and sovereign mark.

This body of work comprises singular, non-replicable sculptural objects and conceptual forms created by Erik Brunetti. Eschewing chronological arrangement, the archive is structured by thematic inquiry into:

– Iconographic Intervention

– Consumerist Detritus

– Corporeal Symbolism

Forged from critical tensions between utility and myth, each object functions as an autonomous artifact—concise, physical assertions on material, meaning, and modernity. From forged branding irons to bronze serpentine totems, these pieces emerge at the nexus of ritual, satire, and cultural memory.
