Q & A

Q: Are any of the Foundation’s works available for purchase or private acquisition?

The Erik Brunetti Foundation for the Arts does not operate as a commercial gallery and does not maintain works for private sale. However, in alignment with nonprofit governance standards and curatorial best practices, select works may be formally deaccessioned from the Foundation’s holdings.

Deaccessioning is undertaken selectively—guided by institutional need, archival scope, and fiduciary stewardship—and may result in the release of a work through recognized private placement or public sale platforms. These include museum acquisition, blue-chip art brokers, and internationally recognized auction houses.

Proceeds from any such action are directed solely toward the Foundation’s mission-aligned operations, including conservation, public programming, and historical preservation.

Inquiries regarding institutional acquisition, private placement, or deaccession opportunities may be submitted in writing to the Foundation’s curatorial office.
