Continuity & Stewardship

The Erik Brunetti Foundation for the Arts exists to maintain the integrity of the work of Erik Brunetti independent of cycles of visibility, interpretation, or market influence.

The Foundation is structured to ensure continuity of custodianship independent of individual participation, personality, or tenure.

Custodial Succession

Archival stewardship responsibilities are governed by documented policies that ensure continuity across leadership transitions. Custodial authority is vested in the institution rather than in any single individual.

Archival Permanence

The Foundation maintains its collections and documentary records under standards intended to support long-term preservation, provenance continuity, and prohibition against fragmentation or loss. Holdings are managed as a permanent cultural record.

Governance Transfer Logic

Governance authority is defined through documented procedures governing appointment, oversight, and transfer of responsibility. These procedures are designed to preserve institutional function and evidentiary integrity over time.

Founder Role Limits

Founders participate in governance in accordance with established fiduciary and ethical standards. No individual role supersedes the Foundation’s institutional mandate, and governance authority is exercised collectively in alignment with nonprofit best practices.
