Large-Scale Paintings & Mixed Media Works
Erik Brunetti in his Los Angeles studio, 2015, seated before Untitled (2015), oil stick on canvas, 120 x 120 in. Executed entirely with oil stick, the work manifests Brunetti’s fixation with chromatic austerity and surface density, transmuting the black field into a site of tactile aggression and conceptual refusal.
This section presents a selection of large-scale paintings and mixed media works by Erik Brunetti, created between 2005 and the present. The works represent an uncompromising studio trajectory of material experimentation and conceptual rigor. Many pieces synthesize visual iconoclasm, linguistic dissonance, and critical theory into singular compositions—advancing Brunetti’s evolving lexicon across paint, substrate, and three-dimensional interventions.
Preserved and maintained by the Erik Brunetti Foundation for the Arts—a federally recognized 501(c)(3) public charity—these works are held in permanent trust for academic exhibition, institutional loan, and nonprofit programming. The collection operates as a curatorial asset rather than commercial inventory, and exists to support public benefit through cultural dissemination, critical scholarship, and historical preservation.
Select works are available for accredited institutional loan. Inquiries reviewed by curatorial committee. Not for sale.
