Collections Access

The Erik Brunetti Foundation for the Arts provides supervised access to select archival and collection materials for qualified scholars, curators, and researchers.

Access is granted on a case-by-case basis and reflects the Foundation’s commitment to evidentiary integrity, preservation standards, and responsible cultural stewardship.

Requests must outline the research purpose, institutional affiliation, and specific materials sought.

Access is available by appointment and may be limited by preservation considerations, ongoing research, or restrictions related to sensitive materials.

Conservation & Care

The Foundation maintains its holdings in accordance with professional standards of archival and museum stewardship.

Works are housed in controlled environments, monitored for stability, and reviewed periodically to ensure long-term preservation. Conservation measures prioritize structural integrity, evidentiary continuity, and the responsible care of culturally significant materials.

Borrowing institutions must meet the Foundation’s environmental, handling, and security requirements for any object requested for exhibition or research.

Registrar’s Office

The Registrar oversees the documentation, preservation, and movement of works within the Foundation’s collection and archive.

Responsibilities include maintaining object records, coordinating conservation assessments, managing institutional loans, supervising packing and transport, and ensuring adherence to professional standards in collections care.

The Registrar works in coordination with curatorial, archival, and research staff to support access for scholarly study and institutional collaboration.
